Jawazat (also known as General Directorate of Passports or GDP for short) is the department which is responsible for issue of iqama for expatriates and passports for Saudis. It is one of the agencies of Ministry of Interior of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia(MOI). It also controls all immigration points.
Functions
– Issue of Iqama – Renewal of Iqama – Exit Visa – Exit Re-Entry Visa
In the past all these fucntions had to be dene by your kafeel in persion. HOwever, all of the above Jawazat services can be done online through Absher application.
